HEE'S RESTAURANT

This restaurant was designed with a new commercial kitchen as one of the major additions. The original space was split level, which divided the served space to the detriment of the restaurant. The new design eliminated this level split, providing a ramped access to the washroom. This washroom access incorporated translucent polycarbonate panel-clad hallways that featured two sculptural posts within the restaurant. These posts drew their inspiration from Chinese temples and serve to provide a contemporary theme for fine oriental cuisine.
