Guy Architects Ltd. is seeking an Architectural technologist to work independently and with our team located in Yellowknife, NT. The successful applicant will provide technical assistance to professional architects and structural design engineers in conducting research, preparing drawings, architectural models, specifications, contracts and supervising construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural designs.

• Prepare computer-assisted design drawings in Revit, and BIM Collaborate Pro, specifications, cost estimates and listings of quantities of material from conceptual drawings and instructions.

• Prepare contract and bidding documents and supervise construction projects, coordinate, monitor, and inspect work done by others.

Skills

• Autodesk, Revit, Microsoft,

• English language proficiency, spoken and written

​

Qualifications

• Completion of a three-to-four-year college program in architectural technology or better. Successful recipient of a certificate in architectural technology or better.

• Must be a Canadian Citizen

• Must relocate to Yellowknife, NT

Experience

• Minimum three (3) years’ work experience, preferable in Architectural, Interior Design, and Structural Engineering environment

• Diploma in Architectural Technology or better
