An expansion of the CBC North Newsroom in Yellowknife was completed in 2009. This expansion required a seamless melding of the new extension to the original building’s 1970’s features and characteristics. It was completed with almost no disruption to the ongoing newsroom operations that continued during the addition. This was the result of the careful planning and organization of multiple departments and disciplines.
