GUILD OF ARTS AND CRAFTS
Yellowknife, NT
2006
The diversity of creative uses that take place in the Guild of Arts and Crafts presented a unique challenge for the design of the space. Guy Architects was tasked with designing an inspiring environment for activities from pottery to weaving, with spaces adequately proportioned to accommodate the accompanying equipment, including pottery wheels and looms.
A member of the Guild of Arts and Crafts said “Each time I use our building, I appreciate the thoughtfulness of its construction. I feel exceedingly fortunate to have such a place to exercise my creativity.”
